Synopsis

Classroom of the Elite Light Novel Vol. 1: Ayanokouji's Monologue is the first volume in the popular light novel series of the same name. The novel follows the story of Kiyotaka Ayanokouji, a high school student who enrolls in the prestigious Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School. However, he quickly learns that the school is not what it seems, and that there is a dark side to the seemingly idyllic facade.

Ayanokouji is placed in Class D, the lowest class in the school. The students in Class D are considered to be the failures of the school, and they are treated as such by the other classes. However, Ayanokouji is not what he seems. He is actually a highly intelligent and capable student who is hiding his true abilities.

As Ayanokouji navigates the treacherous waters of Class D, he begins to learn more about the school's dark side. He learns that the school is actually a breeding ground for future leaders, and that the students are constantly being tested and evaluated. Ayanokouji also learns that there is a secret society within the school that is manipulating the students for their own gain.

As Ayanokouji learns more about the school, he begins to question his own motives. He realizes that he is not the only one who is hiding their true self. Everyone in Class D is hiding something, and they are all fighting for their own survival.
